About my Nairobi trip

Hey good people!!!

Longtime since i last blogged huh!! I have been extremely busy with so many things but today imma catch you up. So recently, last week to be specific, i travelled to Nairobi -Kenya with some friends, we had gone to attend a high level event organized by the youth of WAYAN, it was amazing and we had a brilliant time, the presentations were really informative and am hoping the government was convinced because that was the ultimate outcome of this meeting to get support from the government on enforcing youth friendly services and rights.

If i were the government body, i would totally offer my full support to these youth. It amazing how a group of young people set out to fight the good fight. Advocating for rights of fellow youth, is that cool?

We spent 3days Nairobi and wow, being that it was my first time to be Nairobi, i wanted to move there, just a beautifully city, busy and a lot going on. I think i was mostly impressed by the organizational structure of the city, the order and the people. On the down side, damn, they have a lot of traffic jam, everyone owns a car i guess. :)

On our way back it was terrible, did i mention we used road transport  oh my gosh the bus broke down en we were stuck in Nakuru for 7hrs straight en counting, by the time we gat another bus it was soooo late en we practically travelled for 24hrs...yes i said it 24hrs seated in the god-damn bus. it was horrible so today am here to caution everybody to never use road transport especially if yo' going to another country strictly stick to air transport lol. Anyhoo we arrived safely and of-course had such a great experience.

The good thing about traveling is the part where you get to meet new people  and become good friends, you get to learn about how other cultures, honestly it's a great feeling. Ohhh on the bright side, i learnt a few words in swahili, like "sema, sasa, shikamo(that i knew but did know what it meant)lol" i think that is all my brain would take.

As usual xoxo
love and peace!
